Boscowen Farm

Boscawen is a 50-acre mixed farm which offers work and training opportunities for the benefit of adults with learning disabilities. We concentrate on developing skills such as communication, confidence, self advocacy, assertiveness, team work and a sense of being valued in addition to the vocational skills learned through engagement in work activities.

Working outdoors is good for increasing physical activity and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Working together with others improves well being and self esteem.

The farm has cattle, sheep, pigs, ducks, chickens and goats. All aspects of the care and rearing of livestock are included in the programme of activity. We offer NPTC accredited training courses in Care of Farm Animals.
