Kestle Barton's Flower and Vegetable Show.

Holifield Farm Project will be featured in the new art exhibition at Kestle Barton called 'In Abundance'.

In Abundance: Kestle Barton’s Flower and Vegetable Show is a mixed show in many ways: it is a mixture of the representation and the real – artwork alongside grown produce; it is a mixture of many artists coming together from Cornwall, across the UK and abroad; it is a mixture of mediums ranging from painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, textiles, ceramics and animated film; it is a mixture of meanings about how to view modern day cultivation…and finally it is a rich mixture of impressions on show at Kestle Barton this summer that promises to interest anyone who enjoys art and gardens, and to reassure and inspire anyone who has ever tried to grow anything.

Manaccan Primary School, Zelda School (Gweek) and Holifield Farm Project (Gweek) have each made special contributions to the exhibition with their own areas displaying artwork and a range of grown produce. Additional locally grown produce will be included for sale in the exhibition alongside the artwork.

the exhibition will run from the 2nd July to 29th August 2011.

Kestle Barton is open 10.30am-5pm Tuesday-Sunday.

Kestle Barton is situated next to Helford Village, Postcode TR12 6HU.
