Holifair Festival is an annual family-friendly fundraising celebration with over 30 live bands, talks, cabaret, barn dance, kids area with loads of great workshops, dance tent, chillout space, walkabout acts, firepit, theatre, storytelling, bar, craft and wellbeing area, plus local caterers and stalls set on the beautiful Holifield Farm Project in Gweek, at the head of the Helford Estuary. Holifair attracts up to 3000 people.
2016 will be Holifair’s 9th year and it gets more popular every year. Holifair is a community fundraising event for the The Holifield Farm Project Day Care Centre for people with Special Needs. We are currently trying to raise £50 000 to complete our new classroom and are always on the lookout for donors. Past Holifair’s have paid for a tractor, the start of our classroom, Solar Panels to make us more self sufficient, amongst other useful tools for the trainees on the project.
We are proud to be an environmentally-friendly festival. We actively encourage public transport, cycling and car-sharing, by providing information & links on our website and a parking ticket incentive to car-share. The majority of all energy used on site from solar, and we keep the use of disposable plastic to a minimum. Our bar cups are re-usable and our Solar power is provided by Resource Living and Mobile Solar Stage Productions, as well as our own Solar Panels.

Please do not telephone the event organisers at this stage. Thank you.
A member of our team will contact you if we need further information. We are often overwhelmed with proposals so unfortunately we can’t promise that we will be able to respond to everyone.
Fees & Expenses
Costs play a significant part when deciding on a proposal, as we are a small festival with a limited budget, so please bear this in mind when suggesting a fee and/or expenses. Some applicants are happy to work for no fee simply to promote what they do or just in return for the benefit of a guest ticket per performer/activity coordinator. It should also be noted that we very rarely charge our audience to see/take part in the activities once they are on site.
We will be confirming bookings constantly, so please send your application in as soon as possible. Please note: the earlier we receive your application the better chance you have of being accepted!
Submitting your proposals
Please ensure that every section of the form is completed. You can email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or post all relevant attachments clearly labelled with your name and the name of the project. Where possible, please also make sure you send in a Risk Assessment (download a Template here if you need one) and copy of your Public Liability Insurance valid for the festival dates if relevant. Any questions please email email@example.com. Please do not telephone the event organisers at this stage, thank you.
