gorgeous, non-profit Holifield Camping Events 2016 happen.The weekend was filled with happy faces and a feeling of inclusiveness, acceptance, connection & love…this really is so many peoples favourite weekend of the entire year! What a really great team we had on board atHolifield Farm Project!A huge shoutout to Rob & Amy…the brains and main support & main sponsors behind this event – without you two this just could not happen! To our day care centre manager, Wendy, for taking care of everyone & being such fun – we are so glad to have you as part of the team, to Kate for working her socks off and doing such a fantastic job with decor, disco, karaoke, pizza making, announcements, etc,To Lisa for all your help with all sorts & especially the ‘tashes! 😀 Daisy & co for all the hard work and amazing food in the cafe, and to all the stewards & volunteers who helped make this event happen 

A gigantic thank you too to all who ran performances and workshops for reduced rates, or for free, and for all who made donation to this event – I think everyone can feel the magic that this unique little event creates – it is such a great & affordable event that everyone involved including the trainees of the Holifield Farm Project day centre & many other people with special needs, carers and families, spend a great deal of the year preparing for and looking forward to.
So…a big thanks to Katie of Falmouth Laughter Club for her laughter workshop, to Miracle Theatre Company for the hilarious show ‘The Hope Springs Duo’, to Shallal Dance Theatre for their great performance & workshop, to Seef Saffah lovely ladies for their amazing bellydancing performance & workshop, to the wonderful Cate for the Hula workshops, to the Tintagel Storyteller for her tall tales, to Rosie & Tom for their beautiful Interactive Musical Storytelling, to The Pumped Up Kids for their fantastic tunes, Got Group Cornwall (Got2Act from Sense (deafblind charity) for their performance of Helen Keller, to Josh and the team from CDOCornwall for the Capoeira demo & workshop, to Claudia Caolin Y Compania- Flamenco Cornwall for her Flamenco performance & workshop,to Get ChangedTheatre Company for the interpretation of Alice in Wonderland, to Jonah’s Lift for the highlight – the barn dance! To all who brought stalls, and helped with workshops… Sam, the facepainter,Kate for help with crafts, Hubbadillia Café for their pizza making workshop, Daisy & Holifield Farm Project for the silly song workshop…and anyone else I may have forgotten.

And last but not least to everyone who attended & got involved, for your happy smiley faces and your wonderful karaoke, dancing, artwork, etc..You all TOTALLY rock!!!

Holifield Camping Event, previously known as Holi-day, is an annual 2 day non-profit event and camp over aimed mainly at people with additional needs and learning difficulties(of all ages), their carers and families, but all are welcome. Holifield Camping Weekend is set at the beautiful 32 acre Holifield Farm in Gweek, West Cornwall . 2016 will be our 8th year.

Holifield Farm Project is also a day care centre for people with additional needs. Each year we try and make Holifield Camping Weekend as environmentally friendly as possible, and try to provide all energy used on site from solar, wind and biodiesel and keep use of disposable plastic to a minimum.
