We ask you to attend community meetings when they are organised, and encourage you to get involved in projects such as managing the community polytunnel outside of your exchange or paid days, and/or helping to bring the community together by organising community meals – providing opportunities for healthy communication and connections. Positive, enthusiastic, robust characters who are interested a basic, sustainable lifestyle and like splashing in muddy puddles would make ideal candidates.
We ask for a little extra voluntary time when we run our two annual events Holifield Camping Event and Holifair Festival, and are interested in people who, like us, are interested in building a stronger sense of community, both amongst ourselves and the wider community.
